Thursday Musical Club
Founded in 1918
The Thursday Musical Club provides opportunities for our Northern California musicians to perform and to introduce new artists to our members. We are enriched and blessed with a wealth of incredible professional musicians in Marin and the San Francisco Bay area. We look forward to many years of beautiful music and the gracious gathering of friends.
The Thursday Musical Club currently has approximately 70 members with annual dues of $100.00. You may come as a guest to a performance and High Tea for a fee of $20.00.
The Club was started in 1918 by Mrs. Anna Scott Newhall of San Rafael. Early meetings met in large homes, but in recent years we meet in Churches or Retirement Communities where there is plenty of room and ample parking.
Our programs are usually held the third Thursday of the month and begin promptly at 2:00 pm, with performances ending at 3:00 p.m. Afterwards enjoy a Catered Tea from
3:00 to 4:00 p.m. We would be pleased to have you join with us!
All programs begin at 1:45 p.m.
